Santa Lucia School of Light once again demonstrated how sharp the minds they're shaping in the recent CPAPS i-Spell 2025 held at New Generation International Inc., on the 31st of January, 2025. With the tagline “Empowering Minds: One word at a Time!”, the students each showed the fruits of their passion for learning. Their achievements are a testament to their perseverance and love for learning, this win brought the teachers and their parents beaming with pride. The school warmly congratulates the participants from all grade levels for proudly representing the school, truly they are the joy and pride of Lucians.

The school's continuous and consistent participation in the CPAPS i-Spell private school spelling contest earned them a plaque of recognition from the Cavite Province Association of Private Schools and is awarded the second highest award. This golden award and recognition certainly brought the school a proud moment of celebration.

Shining Little Superstars: The K-Talent Holiday 2025
Every child, with proper and careful guidance, could bring out their brilliant talents and potential. Their small sparks would one day burn bright and ignite bigger dreams and goals. It is wonderful to witness how far their little minds can conquer and the great potential each one of them possess.
The K-Talent Holiday event paves the way for a path each student may excel. The event held at Mater Dei Academy, Tagaytay City on February 14th, 2025, produced outstanding results. The Kindergarten's talents were put to the test of quizzes regarding English, Filipino, Math, and Colors. With the parents and teachers tireless guidance and support to the kindergarten students, each participant showcased their dedication, courage, enthusiasm, and earned the fruit of their hard work. The Santa Lucia School of Light expresses their warmest congratulations to everyone who participated in the K-Talent Holiday 2025.

The recent Inter Private School Chess Competition held at Saint Jude Parish School, Trece Martires City, became a battlefield of the sharpest minds. Each participant demonstrated their brightest moves, displaying their brilliant problem-solving skills and strategies to stand victorious. The student’s outstanding performance marked a glorious proud moment for their amazing coaches, teachers, and parents that dedicated their unwavering support. The Lucian Family offers their warmest congratulations to the victorious young chess wizards Ryle Benedict A. Oller, who placed 2nd - Board 2, and Zach Railley P. Miroy who placed 3rd - Board 1. Santa Lucia School of Light, Inc. family shouts “Checkmate!”.

Illuminating Futures since ‘02: Santa Lucia School of Light's 22nd Founding Anniversary
On the 13th day of December, 2024, Santa Lucia School of Light Inc. marked its glorious 22nd founding anniversary, with a meaningful Mass held the day before. Clothed with white dress and warm candlelight, the solemn procession held by the students greeted the slow crack of dawn. A parade of colors accompanied with lively music by the Drum and Lyre led by Majorette and Flaglets, showcased the outstanding talents of the students. The celebration continued with fun games, raffles and wonderful displays of talents by the students from all grade levels.
As part of the founding celebration, the most awaited search for Mr and Ms SLSLI 2024 was held. The event brought excitement and enthusiasm to the students, families, and supporters. This program brought out the talent and charisma of the students as they embody the confidence and charm they each possess. From production numbers, talent portion, and formal attire, the contestants received the warmest applause and loudest of cheers. And as the night fell, the brightest spotlight shone upon the most outstanding contestants among the others, earning their prestigious titles and crowns for Mr & Ms SLSLI 2024.
Congratulations to the 2nd runner up Ms. Paula Mae Veluya & Mr. John Russel Armada. Continue reaching for the top, congratulations to the 1st runner up Ms. Thalia Franchesca Fabella & Mr. Ice Deyll Bercasio. And the search finally came to an end as Mr. Amiel Felix Nathaniel Visto and Miss Gianrose Tagnipez claimed the title Mr & Ms SLSLI of 2024. The Lucian family undoubtedly is full of talented and charming students with bright futures ahead of their lives.

The Parade of Diversity
United Nations Day is a global annual celebration to commemorate the peace and union of the nations around the world. Schools of these countries who are a member of the UN, partake in this special day. Celebrating their cultural differences and showcasing the traditions and rich history of their mother land.
Santa Lucia School of Light, in participation with the UN's Day celebration, paraded the streets of Ciudad Adelina with colorful traditional clothings of different countries. The teachers prepared fun games and activities for students to enjoy the celebration. The parade showcased the students wearing Hanboks, Kimonos, Hanfu, Barong & Baro't Saya, traje de flamenca, Galabiya, Chut Thai, and many other traditional outfits of different countries. This display of cultural diversity introduces the children to the rich history of humanity and exposes them to the wonders of life. Students with little flags on their hands, made waves, proudly representing other cultures and embracing our own rich traditional ways.

Campfire, Mud, and Games: Lucian Scouts Salute!
On October 11th, 2024, Santa Lucia School of Light, Inc. held their Investiture Ceremony of 2024. Lucian Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts pledged their commitment to their duties as new scouts, with their teachers and families there to witness the new chapter and role they'll accept. The school offers their heartfelt thanks to Kapitana Irene “Nene" Aure for her inspirational message to the newly pledged Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Her presence indeed brought joy and inspiration to the Lucian family.
After officially becoming newly pledged scouts, the Lucian boy scouts and girl scouts enjoyed a fun-filled day of games and activities demonstrating their teamwork and leadership skills. The dark of night time was lit up by campfires and cheerful smiles, giving warmth and joy to the campground. The following day was greeted by lively music and energetic dancing exercises
To develop the student’s teamwork and leadership skills, the school prepared fun-filled activities involving team-building and relay games, campfire at nighttime, lively and energetic morning exercises, and laughter-filled meal times together. Such joyful and warm moments definitely helped bring the students together and built stronger companionship. The success of this activity was an amazing outcome of the dedicated effort of the school's teachers and parent's unwavering support. May you keep shining brightly and make a positive impact in your community.
